Graphic Arts teaches our students the many facets of printing including Layout and Design, Screen Printing, and Offset Printing. Students learn how to make notepads, business cards, letterheads, booklets and t-shirts to name a few.
New this year, Graphics Students will be designing and printing all spirit wear for HHS!
In the Spring, the Graphics classes will print all the materials for the Senior Play: tickets, posters, t-shirts and the program. It is very exciting!
Graphics students will also be involved in the layout, design and printing of The Red and White, our school's student newspaper.
The equipment in the Graphics Lab includes 14 computers loaded with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. We have two offset presses- an ABDICK 9850 and and a Hamada 234C. We also have finishing equipment including a folder, stitcher and hydraulic cutter. Our Screen Printing shop has a four color-four platen press and a six color-four platen press. We are very fortunate to have these opportunities for our students!!!
